A brief history- how I met Thai massage pants
Within weeks of visiting the land of smiles back in 2009, I discovered that being comfortable in a humid climate was an essential part of being truly happy here.
In no time I was looking for airy comfortable clothing that was both absorbent and quick drying, and that’s when it happened?
Prior to receiving an awesome Thai massage in Salaya back then, I was told to put on a pair Thai wrap fisherman pants, to dress for the occasion.
Thai pants are also known as wrap massage pants and these hypoallergenic wrap trousers suit that purpose perfectly, and as you should discover they are the ideal choice for many other pastimes, including fishing!
Anyway, putting wrap pants on for the first time was surprisingly easy and the first thing that struck me was how versatile wrap pants were, a single pair will comfortably fit almost anybody, from teens to grandparents.
I was hooked, my quest was almost complete “I had found the ultimate HAPPY PANTS”

The many names of Thai wrap fisherman pants
You will often find Thai wrap fisherman pants referred to under many names. Thai pants, massage pants, fisherman pants, wrap round trousers etc. But they are all referring to “wrap around and tie trousers” that have no belts, buckles zips or elastic.
With these pants you simply step into them create a fold in the front and tie around the waist. then you fold over the fabric above the tie and you will be securely wrapped in the most comfortable pants you will ever find.

How to Care for Thai Yoga Massage Pants
As I am sure you can imagine massage clothing, massage pants in particular, need to be hardwearing and easy to wash, (for the next customer). Here’s how to care for your fisherman pants.
Machine or hand wash your capri massage pants in cool water with similar colors. “Do not Tumble Dry”. Cool Iron, don’t use bleach.
To reduce the dye running soak in a solution of saltwater or a mild solution of fabric softener overnight.

I really do love these shorts they are thin and light but if I had one complaint it would have to be I would have liked the waist tie to be longer so I could tie them rather than knot them maybe its because of my size but I only wear a 10 normally but over all I really do like these shorts

Very comfy and great freedom of movement. These are a bit thinner than I was initially expecting, but they feel very light and comfortable. They are definitely capris, although on my long legs they’re a bit more like long shorts. Still a great buy and comfy for around the house. Due to being a bit thin (and thus slightly see through), I haven’t really had the urge to wear them in public. Though I’m not ashamed at people seeing my underwear (or lack thereof), I’m not sure John Q. Public would appreciate it as much. These give a great freedom of movement for doing yoga and the like. I feel little to no restriction when stretching and bending.

Such amazing Comfort. I LOVE these pants. I am a licensed massage therapist and these pants have been wonderful. The design of the Thai pant is what drew me to it, the full seat and wide leg. I am moving around quite a bit and I needed a pant that would move with me that I wouldn’t have to keep readjusting. After wearing them a couple times the only change I made was I gave them an elastic waistband, not because the tie would come undone or anything like that, it just saved me time during my rushed washroom breaks 🙂

You can adjust the height of these pants when you tie them. Simply set the length where you want and tie, my Husband is 5’9 and gets a great fit, in fact he barely wears anything else.

I got black and have washed many times. The pigment is still deep and dark. That says something about quality!! There are YouTube videos on how to tie them. It’s not hard just takes some getting used to. These pants are great addition to your comfy cozy clothing needs.
